CHOCOLATE AND ZUCCHINI CREAM CHEESE CAKE

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered cocoa
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1. Mix together all the above dry ingredients.

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups shredded zucchini
1. Combine with all the dry ingredients. Fold in zucchini last.
2. Place in greased baking dish.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, folded in
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  1. Mix cream cheese filling ingredients together.

  2. Place single spoonfuls cream cheese mixture in the middle
    of batter mixture throughout cake.

  3. Bake 25 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool, turn out and serve.
